Meet Buffy, a senior Poodle Mix, weighing 11.3 pounds. After her owner passed away, she was surrendered to Forney Animal Shelter, and Paws in the City rescued her in March 2024. Despite being blind and deaf, Buffy is incredibly smart and quick to learn her surroundings. She’s a charming, energetic little lady who barks when she needs help and has mastered climbing onto beds and chairs. Buffy even lets you know when she needs to go potty! Though she sleeps a lot during the day, she may need nighttime potty breaks. She’s also learning to enjoy stroller walks and will sit up to beg for attention.
Buffy enjoys watching TV and is good with men, women, other dogs, cats, and strangers. She would thrive in a patient and loving home, where she can be given the time to adapt. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and resilient companion, Buffy is waiting to be your little princess!
