As freezing conditions swept through DFW, we were alerted to a serious animal welfare situation that could not wait. What we found was heartbreaking — but heartbreak quickly turned into action.
We partnered with Lobo K9 and Cody’s Friends Rescue to begin immediate medical and behavioral evaluations of each animal, ensuring they received the individualized care they needed.
While all of the animals are now safe and receiving care, this rescue is just the first step. Ongoing medical treatment, behavioral support, and recovery take time — and they take resources.
