Hello, my name is: Charlie

Hi, I’m Charlie! I’m a super sweet and happy Catahoula mix at around 6 years old, weighing 55 lbs. I have a beautiful golden coat with little freckles on my snout, spots on my belly and a white spot in one of my eyes–it’s a Catahoula thing… I’m a handsome guy with a great personality. I smile a lot and I like to give kisses. Speaking of things I like, I enjoy being with people the most and I love getting pet – especially belly rubs. Oh, and I won’t turn down a treat if you’re offering one! 

My foster people tell me what a good boy I am. They say I’m chill and easy going and I’m super smart. I know a bunch of commands like “Sit”, “Stay”, “Shake”, “Come” and “No” which come in handy from time to time! I like to go on walks and I don’t pull on the leash at all. I walk calmly right by your side. I also ride very well in the car and like being your sidekick.

I hardly ever bark but if I do it’s only after you’ve come home after a long day and I’ve missed you. I may also alert you that a package has been delivered – sorry if you like to keep your Amazon boxes under wraps, your secret isn’t exactly safe with me… I also get a bit excited when I see a squirrel in the backyard and tend to chase them but I don’t mean any harm. I can be dog selective, but my trainer will help with a proper into. I am a patient, sweet boy.
