Opportunities to assist in our cause:

Dog Adoption Event Team
- help us find new homes for our dogs on Saturdays or Sundays at our adoption events. They typically last from 11am-4pm and you can help all day or do a half day. It is fun! The dogs have a great time! Come get your dog fix and plenty of puppy kisses! We ask that you commit one Saturday or Sunday a month.

Cat Adoption Event Team - help us find new homes for our cats! The events are on weekends and typically last from 11am-4pm but you can do half days as well. It is such a rewarding feeling to find a homeless cat a new loving home!

Dog Walker/Socializer - Are you active? Do you like to spend quality time with dogs? Then this position is perfect for you! Enjoy the fresh air and get exercise by exercising the dogs who are being kenneled at a boarding facility in Carrollton, Texas. You can take them for walks or play with them in the play yard and if you feel up to it, teach them commands like sit, stay, down and walking nicely on the leash to help them find a home faster!

Transporter - Getting our animals to and from our adoption events is an integral part of their success in finding a forever home. Sometimes we need help transporting animals to the vet as well. We are looking for individuals who can dedicate a few hours per month in transporting our furry friends.

Photographer - Paws in the City needs someone to attend our adoption events and capture the moment with their camera. If you are handy with a camera and would like to help out, send us an email.

Dog Foster parent - These wonderful animals need temporary loving homes until they are adopted. PITC will cover any medical costs and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All you have to do is provide TLC and attend adoption events. Sometimes we have special needs cases but most of the time, the dogs coming to your home will be healthy and we'll make sure to work with your situation including if you have kids, cats or other dogs to find the right match.

Puppy Foster parent - These wonderful animals need temporary loving homes until they are adopted. PITC will cover any medical costs. All you have to do is provide TLC and attend adoption events once they have had their vaccinations. We'll make sure to work with your situation including if you have kids, cats or other dogs to find the right match. We need foster homes for momma dogs with puppies as well as individual puppies.

Cat Foster parent - These wonderful animals need temporary loving homes until they are adopted. PITC will cover any medical costs. All you have to do is provide TLC and attend adoption events. Sometimes we have special needs cases but most of the time, the cats or kittens coming to your home will be healthy and we'll make sure to work with your situation including if you have kids, cats or other dogs.

Fundraising/Special Events Action Team - Fundraising is an important part of keeping our organization alive. In order to continue, we must raise funds. We desire motivated and creative thinkers to lead us in planning and executing our next big event.
